  You can implement an experiment to see whether the black is a better collector of solar energy than white.  Before you start, such materials as 2 tin cans, black and white paint, and a room thermometer should be prepared.  First of all, paint the cans-one black, one white.  Additionally, fill the cans with water.  What's more, put the cans in direct sunlight for three hours.  As a final point, check the temperature of the water in the cans and compare.  To sum up, the result will prove that the temperature of water in the black can is the higher of the two.
